FAQ
Mushrooms are not plants. They are 200 millions years older than plants with 7 times more species. With 40% of their DNA being the same as a human with similar pathogens, they have been used for centuries by kings, queens, emperors and shamans as powerful medicine and supplementation. Functional mushrooms have been traditionally used for thousands of years. Numerous published research articles have established the health benefits of these unique and powerful mushrooms. Support for immune health is the primary benefit. Functional mushrooms contain beta glucans which are important for immune system functionality. Humans do not produce beta glucans and, therefore, functional mushrooms can play an important role in supporting daily health and wellness. In addition to immune health, each type, or species of mushroom provides its own special benefits including aiding cognitive and neurological health, gut health, cardiovascular health, bone health, healthy blood sugar, liver health, beauty (healthy hair, skin and nails), vitality, sports performance and recovery, and support for the management occasional stress, both physical and mental. Here are some of the benefits of HIGHVIBE Mushrooms LIMITLESS Blend:
• Supports ATP production
• Increase blood circulation
• Synthesize new nerve cells growth
• Anti Aging Properties
• Dopamine Activation
• Liver detoxification
• Helps Regulate blood sugar
• Calms your nervous system
• Enhance sexual performance
• Improve cardiovascular system
• Lowers cholesterol levels
• Contains anti-cancer properties
Some of the primary ingredients in HIGHVIBE Mushrooms provide a variety of nutritional benefits including beta glucans and other polysaccharides, polyphenols, prebiotic non-soluble fiber, and digestive enzymes that support immune function. Yes. HIGHVIBE Mushrooms are Gluten Free.
Yes. HIGHVIBE Mushrooms are suitable for a Paleo/Keto diet as functional mushrooms are approved for both diets.
We use the entire mushroom. That means the fruiting bodies that contain high amounts of Beta Glucans, an active compound with tons of health benefits as well as well as the mycelium. We use the whole mushroom to provide a more complete nutrient profile rather than isolating only specific parts of the mushroom.Mycelial biomass is the root-like structure of the mushroom, the most bioactive stage of the mushroom life cycle. The mycelium is the primary life system of the mushroom and is full of polysaccharides, prebiotic fibers, neurotrophic and immune-supporting compounds.

Did you know that mushrooms are 200 million years older than plants & have 7 times more species than plants? They literally breathe in oxygen and give off carbon dioxide just like humans. They share 40% of human DNA and 60% of RNA whereas plants only share 5% of our DNA. Because mushrooms contain the many of the same common pathogens as humans, they are able to assist in balancing and boosting our immune systems. Studies have shown that participants taking medicinal mushrooms report improvements in fatigue & exhaustion, including cold intolerance, dizziness, hyposexuality, cognitive changes (“brain fog”).
Unlike other mushroom blends that use only the fruiting body, we process & mill the entire mushroom, including the mycelium in order to maximize the many benefits of the mushrooms. Our LIMITLESS blend contains a complex array of beteropolysaccharide compounds (beta glucans, alpha glucans & polysacchropeptides) and has been shown to interact with cells of our immune system to strength & balance immune function.
HIGHVIBE Mushrooms is unique because it contains both mycelium and fruiting bodies to provide the complete nutrient profile. The mycelium is like the root structure of the mushroom & every cubic inch of the soil it's grown in contains up to 8 miles of mycelium. It functions as the feeding structure of a fungus. Its fibrous structure maximizes contact with the food source. It is a highly intelligent microscopic neural network that is 700 million years old.
Some of the species produce fruit bodies (the spore-producing stage of the mushroom life cycle) more readily and abundantly than other species. The mycelium, or the root-like system of the mushroom, is an amazing network of active threadlike strands and the primary life system of the mushroom. Mycelium contains important bio-active compounds and is full of polysaccharides, prebiotic fibers, neurotrophic and immune-supporting compounds, many of which are only found or primarily in the mycelium.
HIGHVIBE Mushrooms are grown and packaged in our indoor farm in Carlsbad, California on gluten free organic oat substrate with husks intact which increases the potency of the mushrooms. They are grown using a proprietary process known as solid state fermentation which allows for the full capture of the 100s of enzymes and other bioactive compounds that the mushrooms make. They are then harvested and dehydrated using carefully controlled, filtered air that is constantly monitored. Once dehydrated, the mushrooms are milled into a fine powder, which is then packaged and ready to ship.
Mushrooms are adaptable and have the ability to produce a multitude of enzymes that allow them to access the nutrition contained in many types of substrate materials. We grow our mushrooms on Certified 100% Organic, Project Verified Non-GMO, gluten-free whole oats because they provide a uniquely nutritious and clean growing environment. Unlike a low-nutrition substrate such as wood, oats provide a naturally challenging growing environment that encourages enzymatic activity for mushrooms. Oats are a planet-friendly option, generally grown as an un-irrigated crop. Unlike other functional substrates used for growing functional mushrooms, such as rice, oats do not require large amounts of water. Finally, oats do not emit large amounts of methane, a common greenhouse gas.
Yes. Our product is subject to in-house and 3rd party testing for heavy metals and other contaminants and meet and exceed industry standards, including Prop 65. Because we grow and process our own mushrooms in an ultra-clean cGMP (Certified Good Manufacturing Practices) facility, we can ensure the mushrooms are of the highest quality.
Since we are a full spectrum blend there is not an “extraction process”
The mushrooms (both mycelium and fruiting body) are dehydrated and ground up into a fine powder.
Care should be taken when using functional mushrooms along with some medications.
- Mushrooms have “antiplatelet aggregation” properties with effects that can be additive to the effects of blood-thinning medications and that can slow blood clotting. For this reason, supplementation with mushrooms should be curtailed for a week or so before and after surgeries.
- Mushrooms have blood pressure lowering effects that can be additive to the effects of blood pressure lowering medications. People taking these types of medications should carefully monitor their blood pressure when supplementing with mushrooms. It is possible that the doses of the medications can be reduced or eliminated with regular supplementation of mushroom products.
There are no indications that mushrooms, in general, would be contraindicated for people taking SSRI medications. There are some reports showing that the Lion’s Mane mushroom can elevate serotonin and/or stabilize serotonin levels. However, the cognitive benefits and antidepressive effects of Lion’s Mane are more often attributed to hericenone and erinacine compounds that can cross the blood-brain barrier and elevate levels of Nerve Growth Factor and Brain Derived Nerve Factor that in turn can upregulate neurogenesis and neuro-regenerative processes. Psychoactive mushroom species containing psilocybin definitely do elevate serotonin levels.
Reishi has also been reported to affect neurotransmitters and serotonin levels to elevate mood and alleviate depression. The adaptogenic properties of Reishi help us to better cope with stress and to modulate flight-or-fight responses.
Each lot of oat substrate is tested for mycotoxins that are associated with grains such as oats. On a skipped lot basis, we test finished lots of powder for mycotoxins associated with milled products. Every lot of finished powder is tested for yeast and molds, pathogenic microorganisms, and heavy metals (arsenic, cadmium, lead mercury). Testing is done by third-party, accredited labs. We have never found any mycotoxins in the oat substrate or finished powders. Heavy metal levels in our powders are very low—often below the detection limits of extremely sensitive lab equipment capable of reporting in parts per billion.
In general, the active ingredients in mushrooms tend to hold up well to the heat of various methods of cooking. Enzymes, some vitamins, amino acids and protein will breakdown at elevated temperatures, but most other things hold up pretty well. Immunomodulating beta glucan compounds hold up well to high temperatures and in fact boiling or very hot water is used to extract these compounds. Antioxidants such as ergothioneine and polyphenols also hold up well to heat. Chitin that is layered in the cell wall of mushrooms along with beta glucans is softened and disrupted by heat that serves to make the beta glucans and compounds inside the cell more bioavailable.
